I have been involved in teaching since 2007. I am formally trained and certified to teach at Dutch universities (BKO Basiskwalificatie Onderwijs).

As a sociologist and a teacher I see my task in challenging and guiding students in the pursuit of three overarching learning goals:

  • Excite students about societal topics and instill the ability to think sociologically,
  • Cultivate an appreciation and understanding of scientific methods,
  • Provide fundamental knowledge and tools applicable to students’ future career.
